Meet our Board of Directors
Dr. Sylvia Carter is a woman who uses her life to influence and inspire women around the world. She is a missionary, educator, philanthropist, mentor, inspirational speaker and writer that balances ministry and family. She loves encouraging others to fulfill their potential in Christ. In 2013, she released her first Christian romance novel, No Wasted Tears. She eventually went on to release the sequel, Beyond the Tears. Her newest novel is Rescue Me. Dr. Sylvia loves being authentic and transparent.

She is the Co-pastor of Siloam Church International, where she partners with her husband Pastor Jonathon Carter. She is the visionary and founder of two non-profits Women Impacting A Nation (WIN) and The Crossfire Movement. Through these non-profits her vision is to create a world where the cycle of powerlessness is broken, and women as well as children are empowered to thrive in their purpose.

Her leadership has been demonstrated for over 30 years starting with the Clayton County School System in Georgia, where she was the first African American to become a National Board Certified Teacher as well as being named Teacher of the Year.

Sylvia’s most prized title, however, is COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the Carter household in Atlanta, Georgia. As a wife of over 29 years to Jonathon Carter and mother of two, Thaydra and Jonathon Jr.
Cephia M. Blassingame is a native of Hartwell, GA and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Ms. Blassingame has earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades education, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Specialists degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently employed by Atlanta Public Schools as an Assistant Principal. She is a moral compass for her grade-level scholars and staff and often works additional hours to ensure their success. In addition to being an administrator, she is also the CEO of Cephia’s Creations, self-care beauty products. Furthermore, she is a member of National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Incorporated and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Ms. Blassingame is dependable, determined and dedicated to all tasks put before her. She works hard and diligently, providing exceptional customer service at church and work. She’s a firm believer in autographing her work with EXCELLENCE. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing, traveling and creating wellness products for her customers that satisfy the senses and soothes the soul. Ms. Blassingame gives her time and energy to being her personal best every day. The motto she uses to attribute to her success is: “Do what you have to do in order to do what you want to do.” Cephia M. Blassingame is a service-oriented leader that gives her full attention to all things that are assigned to her.
Courtney is the owner and CEO of Kortni Kreations LLC. Kortni Kreations is an event coordinating business that offers customizable balloon décor and marquees. Courtney strives to maintain community involvement in every aspect of life. She is an energetic, innovative, and driven professional with five years of experience in administrative and customer service-oriented environments. Courtney is a meticulous professional with the ability to work on multiple projects and events by providing solutions to complex problems while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Courtney was selected and completed the 2020 Winner's Circle Internship program. In this program, she went through professional development courses. Courtney engages in a considerable amount of community service. She currently serves as the food program director for the Finish Strong Learning Pod, where she ensures the scholars are fed a nutritional snack and meal during operating hours. She is heavily involved in orchestrating community activities at Siloam Church International such as the Back to School and Food Giveaway events, which have impacted over 500 families. Additionally, Courtney is a member of her church’s Growing Leaders of Worth (GLOW) team, which plans strategies and events that are designed to bring together intergenerational congregants in an environment that fosters joint fellowship and collaboration. Her avid volunteerism gives her a sense of personal gratification to know that she is helping to make a difference in someone else’s life.
Courtney’s biggest accomplishment is being a mother to her son, Jaylen.She resides in Douglasville, Georgia with her family.
Reginald Jackson, currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for The Whisper Group. As the visionary and chief strategist, his astute knowledge of building construction and business market trends have been instrumental in positioning The Whisper Group (TWG) to become one of Atlanta’s rising construction companies. He has over 28 years in the construction and real estate industry.

Reginald’s career in construction began in 1989 when he proudly joined his father and the family business in Syracuse, New York and served as a project manager for numerous projects. Under his father’s mentorship, he learned the importance of scheduling, project management and building strategic partnerships. While in the NY market, he went on to work for Crouse Real Estate Inc. as Vice President of Construction and Diversified Waste Technologies as a Partner in the firm. Reggie was responsible for new construction and construction renovation for Crouse Real Estate at Diversified Waste Technologies, Reggie’s responsibilities running the day to day operation with concentration on the Asbestos/Lead Abatement, and Demolition division.Reggie has managed construction projects that value from 2M-95M.

His passion for construction and Development eventually led him to establish The Whisper Group in 2014 with a vision to “Answering the call to execute in excellence”.A common thread throughout Reginald’s time in the construction industry has been his strong advocacy for building sustainable communities. He has served in various philanthropic roles with nonprofits such as Big Brothers & Sister and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He currently serves on the board of Women Impacting A Nation, a 501(c)3 organization designed with the purpose of supporting women and children with educational, personal empowerment and professional development programming and services that will allow them to live their best lives.

Reginald is a proud alumna of Syracuse University where he received a degree in Business Management. Additionally, he serves on the Deacon Board of Siloam Church International. He lives with his family in Atlanta, Georgia.
